Waffle is responsible for directing the maintenance for the equipment, buildings and grounds of the community as well as providing overall supervision for all maintenance and housekeeping personnel.

Prior to joining the team at Brightwater, Waffle worked as the chief engineer for Avista Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Chief Engineer at Jordan Properties in Myrtle beach, South Carolina; Director of Facility Services in Concord, North Carolina; Project Coordinator for UNC-Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina; Owner of David Waffle Painting in Norwich, New York.
