Joyce Gardner, chief nursing officer at Grand Strand Regional Medical was the featured guest speaker at the ribbon-cutting, while Donald Thompson, President and CEO of Senior Living Communities, Tiffany Bazen, Brightwater Executive Director and Jacque Richardson, Brightwater Healthcare Administrator also spoke.

"I traveled up and down the North and South Carolina coasts for years looking for a retirement community," said Janet Osgood, new Brightwater member and retired nurse. "When I got Brightwater's card in the mail, I got chills. It is everything I had been looking for.
