Brightwater, a luxury, all-inclusive retirement community located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is pleased to announce the addition of Jacque Richardson as the new Director of Healthcare Administration.

Richardson, a licensed healthcare administrator and social worker, is responsible for supervising all aspects of the healthcare portion of the community including the management of the healthcare staff as well as the coordination of the pharmacy, vendors and outside contractors. She oversees all nursing aspects, healthcare programs, rehabilitation programs and assists with marketing agendas within the community, operating and in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Richardson graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina with a B.A. in both Social Work and Psychology. She then went on to graduate with honors at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she received a Masters of Health Services Administration.

Prior to joining the team at Brightwater, Richardson worked as Executive Director of Banyan Senior Living in Greenville, South Carolina; Administrator of Clarke Nursing Center in Florence, South Carolina; Program Administrator/Consultant of McLeod Inst for Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics in Florence, South Carolina; Assistant Administrator/Consultant of Marion Nursing Center in Marion, South Carolina; President of Carolina Medical Recruitment in Mullin, South Carolina; Chief Operating Officer of TLC Home Health Care, Inc. in Mullins, South Carolina; and Administrative Consultant, Director of Marketing & Physician Recruitment, and Director of Social Work for Marion County Hospital District in Marion, South Carolina.
